2cRolled oats (312 g)
1/2cWheat germ (60 g)
1/2cChopped pitted (118 ml) dates, softened in 1/4 cup hot water
2tbSesame seeds (30 ml)
3tbBlanched almonds, chopped (45 ml)

Naturally sweet, this granola is also delicious sprinkled over plain nonfat yogurt. Preheat oven to 325 F (165C). Combine all ingredients in a shallow baking pan. Bake for 15 minutes, stirring every 5 minutes. Cool and store in an airtight container for up to 1 week or freeze individual portions in zip-lock bags for longer storage.
